Margo McCall’s short stories have appeared in numerous literary journals, including Pacific Review,  Shark Reef, EVENT, Dark Winter Lit, and blank spaces. Her journalism and essays have been published in Herizons, Lifeboat, the Los Angeles Times, and the CBC, among others. After four decades spent living and writing in Southern California, Margo recently moved back to her prairie hometown of Winnipeg, Canada. She is finishing a hybrid memoir about her experience, called That's It, I'm Moving (Back) to Canada. Her short story collection, Predatory Practices, was a finalist for Black Lawrence Press's 2024 Hudson Prize, and she was recently a finalist in The Writers Union of Canada's annual Prose Competion.
